Cyberpunk: Edgerunners × Wuthering Waves Collaboration Announced for 2026

Lucy and Rebecca Are Entering a New World

The world of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is expanding beyond Night City. A new collaboration between Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Wuthering Waves has been announced for 2026, bringing the energy of CD PROJEKT RED and Studio Trigger’s beloved anime into Kuro Games’ open-world action RPG.

According to current reports, the collaboration will feature Lucy and Rebecca, two of the most recognizable characters from Edgerunners. Rebecca is expected to appear as a free playable 5-star Resonator, while Lucy is set to play a major role in the collaboration’s story content.

Edgerunners Never Really Ended

While this is not a new season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the collaboration shows how strongly the anime continues to live through its characters, style, and fan culture. Edgerunners became one of the most memorable cyberpunk anime projects of the last decade because of its neon-soaked visuals, emotional storytelling, and tragic connection to Night City.

By crossing into Wuthering Waves, Lucy and Rebecca are no longer limited to the streets of Night City. Instead, their presence moves into another broken future — one filled with ruins, technology, conflict, and survival. For fans of cyberpunk, anime, and futuristic game worlds, this collaboration feels like more than a simple crossover. It is another sign that the Edgerunners legacy is still alive.
